$286M renovation brings new life to century-old General Electric plant in Indiana

For a century, the General Electric powered campus near downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, served as a image of the city’s industrial may. At its peak, in the late months of Environment War II, the campus utilized 40% of the city’s wage earners. 

GE departed the campus in 2014, but the hulking structures it still left behind were being in no way razed. Now they are remaining reborn as an bold multi-stage redevelopment called Electric powered Performs.

The 1st period of construction, which began in January and is slated for completion upcoming drop, will produce new headquarters for Indiana’s biggest employer, Do It Greatest Corp., as well as place earmarked for instructional and well being care services.
